POWERFUL QUESTION INSTITITE OFFERING SEED GRANTS TO INDIVIDUALS WANTING TO LIVE OUT THEIR POWERFUL QUESTION  

Chicago, Il. (September 15, 2024)—The Powerful Question Institute (PQI) announced its new Seed Grant Program, a funding opportunity for individuals seeking to live out their Powerful Question. The PQI Seed Funding Program offers the opportunity for persons to apply for small initial grants ($500-$2,000) to encourage the most promising ideas connected to one’s Powerful Question.

“Since I founded the PQI, I have always wanted to encourage individuals who have worked hard to work out ways to allow their Powerful Question serve as a catalyst for change and the betterment of others,” said Dr. John Olesnavage, Catholic psychologist, speaker and author of Your Most Powerful Question: Finding Purpose and Meaning in God’s Plan published by The Word Among Us Press. “We want to invest in worthwhile efforts to inspire, equip and connect with others to more effectively evoke change and positively impact society.”

The Powerful Question Institute is a 501(c)3 founded in 2014. Its purpose is to educate and promote powerful questions as the intentional way to discover one’s purpose in life. This goal is carried out through educational efforts, workshops, and events. In addition to helping individuals discover their unique Powerful Question, it offers training to those who what to help others find their powerful question. The volunteer board of directors oversees publications of a blog and sponsors events to highlight the benefits of living one’s own truth. 

According to Michael Wick, Chair of the PQI Board, “Once found, a person’s Powerful Question can put them on the path to full potential, who they were born to be and show them, ‘what’s next.’ Wick continues, “By initial funding a project or program, a PQI Seed Grant will help interested individuals to discover practical ways to live out their Powerful Question that may solve problems and/or to create opportunity for the betterment of others. It could spark a new beginning, one that honors who we really are and our role in God’s purpose and plan.”

The Powerful Question Institute Seed Grant program is now accepting initial inquiry applications at their website www.AskYourPowerfulQuestion.com. Individuals who wish to apply must first discern their Powerful Question and then submit their idea for consideration. Vetted and approved submissions will then be asked to fill out a formal grant application seeking additional details and with a proposed timeline for the project or program. Coaching and guidance will be offered by the PQI Committee to both those given grants and those who may not received a seed grant but still want to implement their ideas.
